 I designed Life Journal by combining the most effective tools I've used in the last ten years after burning out a million times over and being frustrated that I still felt so far removed from what really matters in life. If you want to live life authentically and passionately, but you find yourself burning out or feeling stuck -- I made this for you. I know what it's like to prioritize everyone else and everything else society deems important above your needs: it leads to a disconnected self, inauthenticity, and apathy. Time is your most valuable resource and one that can't be replenished. I hope this journal gives you strategies and focus so you find you are spending your time on the right things in life and making sure to celebrate yourself on the journey.

Remember: no one knows what you need better than you do. Please use the tools to guide you in creating your own practice and routine. The suggestions for regularity are merely suggestions, but of course, consistency Is key:

  • new theme & end-of-year reflection (annually) to commemorate and celebrate yourself & your accomplishments, as well as reflect on what your theme is for the coming year: make it one word or three at most! You can start this journal anytime - not just on January 1st!

  • mood tracker (daily) pick your favorite crayons and track your mood

  • wheel of life (monthly) with a reflection at the end of every month to see which bucket In your life needs some extra love

  • quick check-ins (daily) should take you no longer than 5 mins in the morning [try not to doom scroll on social media!] and 8 minutes in the evening. Set your focus goals, then celebrate your wins, notice what felt misaligned with your values, and record a favorite moment

  • journal/reflection/affirmation prompts: only 6 are included in this journal, but you can find more on Instagram @gold.map and subscribe to the newsletter below for more prompts

My hope is that the Life Journal helps you to feel more connected to yourself, to others, and to the world around you. I hope that these routines stick with you even as you pen your last words and that you become so aware and present in your life that you can relish every day as you should -- as your most authentic, fun-loving self.
